I had booked a package travelling from Nov. 23-26 to the Riu, Paradise Island. When selecting my ground transportation vouchers, I selected the incorrect zone. We are going to be dropped off in the Cable Beach area. Orbitz is refusing to make any changes to my package.
Any recommendations as to how we can get to Paradise Island? Is taxi the only solution or can we take a bus? It is approximately 6 miles away, ,so I'll need to know the bus that we should take if there is one. |

At most hotels on Cable beach, cabs are lined up waiting for fares. I suggest you ask to be dropped at the Wyndahm or the Raddison. Grab a cab from there and 15-20 minutes later you will be at your hotel. The busses are too small for your luggage I suspect.

Not only are the buses small sometimes, they can also be very slow. A cab from the airport to Riu ran us 30 dollars last month so from the Radisson it would probably be about 15 or 20 dollars. Well worth the money to get there and get checked in.
