Beirut 2-month stay

Alo

I'm looking for an apartment to stay in while i do some volunteer work in lebanon during november + december.
My requirements are: safe and cheap accomodation - i would really love to stay in a student area if i can - and I would like to rent for two months.

Any advice?

Hi.

I live in a foyer right off Bliss Street, and it's a great student area to spent two months. The building is safe, and the rent is relatively cheap (furnished $300 / month all utilities included). The foyer is currently occupied by one Lebanese-American (myself), Palestinian-American girl, Jordanian guy, and a Slovak and Dutch girl. We are all students.

I would recommend getting in touch with the landlord, Sarmad Salibi, at ++961.3.727.623 and mention that 'Ronnie Chatah' (my name) gave you this information. You can also take my number down ++961.70.132.894, and give me a call once he has confirmed that it's possible for you to come and check out the place.

Please let me know a little more about yourself. Your age, gender, nationality, etc.

Hope to hear from you soon.
Ronnie

Hi Nicky.

Yes, there are 3 rooms still available. The new rent rate is $280 / month. This includes utilities (expensive in Beirut), laundry washer, bed, desk, desk chair, closet and cable TV. As of 1 November we will be 6 tenants(5 upstairs and 1 downstairs). The 3 available rooms are all downstairs. We are all friends, and the living atmosphere is great.

I can show you the room once you're here in Beirut, or if you don't have a place to stay, I can have the room ready and you can move in upon your arrival.

Please let me know more about yourself, where you're coming from, what type of work you will be doing in Beirut, etc.

Keep me posted, and good luck.
Ronnie
