I plan to travel from Hat Yai to Kuala Lumpur. Is there bus which connect the two cities ? How much does it cost ? How many hours ? What time does the last trip ?

The best bus for direct from Hat Yai to Kuala Lumpur is Plusliner. The journey takes about 9hours in total and typically you should reach Kuala Lumpur in the early morning.

If I am not mistaken the price of the ticket should be around 700 to 800 baht (one way).

It would be far more comfortable to take the train. There is a direct link between the two cities.
