There is a sign in Kodiak, AK saying we have a sister city, Dragør Denmark. No one has made a site there yet. Any Danes want to give me some information.

Hi,
I'm not from Denmark, but try http://www.dragor.dk
I hope it's the right Dragor (in case there are several cities called Dragor).
Bye,
and lots of greetings from Germany,
Kristina

Not a Dane either but a Swede who is just about to move back from Brussels to Malmö on the other side of the straight from Copenhagen so I know the area. Yes, that's the correct Dragör. It is a quaint small town on the outskirts of Copenhagen (near CPH airport). Colourful little houses and a nice atmosphere. There used to be a ferry from Malmö to Dragör but now we have a bridge between Sweden and Denmark.

Hi,

A friend of mine lives in Dragor and I stayed there while in Denmark and had a wonderful time. It is a charming little town. What kind of information did you want?

I have a few photos of Dragor on my Denmark page.

Linda

Dragør is a charming (and expensive) fishing town south of Copenhagen. It's situatated on an island not far from the airport. There used to be a lot of border activity as there were boats to and from Sweden, but as they opened the Øresundsbridge a few years ago, they could no longer make the route profitable.
