c) Any other tips about this city?

4) Sardis

Your expertise would gladly help!!!

Cheers.

The distance between Izmir and Ephesus is 80-90 kms.Air port is 7o KM's. There are 24 hours bus or minibus lines to Selcuk from Izmir. You can make a dailly tour and return to Izmir or stay at Selcuk.A bus ticket is not more then 10.-TLs.You can learn the adress of bus or minibus terminal from your hotel in Izmir. Selcuk is the city near Ephesus. It is only 8 Km's to Ephesus. Kusadasi is the other city only 30 KM's away from Ephesus.Kusadasi is a port.(visit my kusadasi page)Near Ephesus you may visit the home of Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus Christus. and chuch and grace of St. John in Selcuk.

As for Pergamun: We call the city Bergama. It is 100 Km's from Izmir. You can reach there everytime also. Because it is on the way to Istanbul. 24 hours traffic.

As for sardes: It is near the city Salihli on the autoway Izmir-Ankara only 90 kms from Izmir. You can have 24 hours bus or minibus lines. Minibus is called "Dolmusch" in Turkish.

Have a nice time in Turkey. May you came happily and return happily.
