How many hours would it take to drive from Ljubliana to Trieste ? We will be in Ljubliana at 15.00. Would it be to late by the time we arrive Trieste ? Our plan is to hire acar from Ljubliana airport and drive all the way to trieste and stay there for 1 night.Any suggestons on the preferable road to take from Ljubliana to Trieste?Is there any nice places that we must see on the way?

Thanks for the reply. we actually wont miss Ljubliana will be back on the 24th and spend a full day. all your recommendations regarding Ljubliana / nice places to see restraunts, cheap and clean hotel to stay at are more than welcomed. Thanks again
