Isle of Man Motorcycle loan/hire
Posted: Fri October 13, 2006 12:06 AM UTC
Hi, my partner and I are from New Zealand and will be at the TT from 1st -4th June 07. We are wanting to get a loan or compensate someone for the use of a motorcycle for a lap of the circuit on Mad Sunday. This is a life long ambition! We are 50, so not into going fast and the type or size of motorcycle is unimportant. All care and responsibility will be ours. Any help/ideas greatly appreciated- thanks- Greg and Wendy.

Hi,

I will ask about and see if anyone can loan you their bike if you want. My bro has a bike and might be a willing to lend it out. I will ask him for you?

Mad Sunday though although is nice to get out and everyone is doing the same it is a crazy day on a bike and there are loads of accidents. I can assure you, youwill be held up at least once or twice whilst going round becyuse someone has come off.

Anyway e-mail me and I will see what I can do.

Fi

At a bike show a year or so back, somebody gave me a card with the following details:
tt_experience.com
info@tt-experience.com
Based in Park Avenue, Douglas, I think he rents out Suzuki Bandits. Don't know if he's still in business.
You won't find any info from the tourist office - they don't think bike hire exists.
If you Google, I found a Classic Bike Hire service last time I looked. There was also a thread on the forum at iomtt.com (or you could start one?)
