I would like to know that, when making hotel reservations in some parts of Mexico, does a person pay for room rates with American dollars or Mexican pesos?
How is that determined? |

In resorts and along the border, you can pay with either dollars or pesos. Beyond the border and resorts, you pay with Mexican pesos. That's their national currency, so that's what you pay with.

You can pay in US dollars at major hotel chains, the rate is not the best though.
