HI EVERYONE,
MY NAME IS MARIA AND I AM THINKING IN MOVING TO FRANCE IN JANUARY.THE THING IS THAT I AM A BIT LOST ABOUT WHICH CITY SHOULD I CHOOSE TO LIVE.
I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING IN INTERNET BUT I CAN'T MAKE UP MY MIND.

MY IDEA IS GOING TO FRANCE FOR A WHILE TO LEARN FRENCH AND IF POSSIBLE GET SOME EXPERIENCE IN THE TOURISM AREA.I WOULD LIKE TO BE IN A NOT A VERY BIG CITY, WITH YOUNG PEOPLE WHERE IS NOT GOING TO BE TO HARD TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS( I AM GOING ON MY OWN SO IT IS A BIT SCARY).
I WAS THINKING IN MONTPELLIER, TOULOUSE OR LYON. BUT PEOPLE TOLD ME THAT MONTPELLIER BUT I CHANGE MY MIND ALL THE TIME ABOUT WHICH CITY SHOULD I CHHOSE.
CAN ANYONWE HELP ME? THE MAIN POINT IS THAT I WANT A WELCOMING CITY WHERE PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY AND WHERE I CAN LEARN FRENCH. ALSO IF WOULD BE GOOD IF THE CITY HAS A LIVE NIGHTLIFE...

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

MARIA

Aix-en-Provence might be the place for you. There are a number of universities, lots of restaurants, bars, and clubs. It is conveniently locatd since it is 30 minutes from Marseille, about 2 hours by bus from Nice and 2 and half from Paris by train. It is also small enough and there are lots of foreign students there studying French. It is also beautiful. I think you would have a wonderful time there.
