Hi,
I travel to Hat Yai by nighttrain from Kuala Lumpur Sentral (arrival Hat Yai: October 17th about 11:00 am) and want to go to Koh Lanta the same day. Can I travel by mini-bus or bus to Koh Lanta from Hat Yai? When do they depart and where to buy the ticket (is it sufficing if I buy it in Hat Yai?) I need to know where can I get bus from Hat Yai to Satun and how long is the bus trip?
Need to catch the last ferry from Satun to Langkawi. Thanks,

You can buy a mini-bus ticket from any travel agent in Hat Yai. I am not sure about the time the buses would leave Hat Yai but I would think they either leave in the morning or early afternoon. You can check on this when you arrive in Hat Yai.
Have a good time in Koh Lanta.
