I'm traveling to Busan on October 14th. Will be there for the Pusan Film Festival. Looking for accommodation but so far no luck due to short notice. Any advice?

I don't think you'll find any vacant hotel any more.
However, if you don't mind, I'm sure you can still find vacancies at Motels or Yeogwans. There are hundreds all over the city... Since it's usually not possible to make bookings with Motels, I'd suggest to simply go to Busan and start asking for vacanies at the next best Motel right after your arrival. Motels are slightly more decent than Yeogwans but also slightly more expensive (approx. 20 to 30,000 KRW) and offer a Western-style bed (at Yeogwans you sleep on the floor). Good luck and have fun! Cheers, Robert
