I intend to go to Canary Islands in early april 06, and I wonder if Tenerife and Grand Canaria have the same weather. I heard that Grand Canaria was warmer. Is it true ?
Is there a big difference between north and south of these islands ? (talking about weather, of course)
Thank you for your help

I don't think there is a very big difference between Gran Canaria and Tenerife. But between the north and the south of the islands there is a big difference!
The northern parts are more exposed to the tradewinds coming in from the Atlantic, while the southern parts are protected by the rugged mountains in the centre of the island.
Many times it can be 15 degrees, rain and cloudy in the north - while the south has 30 degrees, sun and blue sky... Even if it's just a 30 minute drive apart!
