We are 2 students from Slovenia and we are coming to Reykjavik in 19. december for 5-month study of earth scince. We should get our own appartment in the beginning of January, and now we are in trouble, because we already come on 18.december:(. We are looking for some nice person who would let us (for payment) stay over for these couple of days.
We know that it is very unusual time (christmas and new year) but we really don`t know what else to do. Can anyone give us some information?

And she can rent a room to you and the monthly price is 40000 isk for a double room but for a shorter time you can talk about it with the owner if you know when exactly you get your flat. You can try to send email to her. This is a good well located clean guesthouse. I have a few times had people staying there.You will share a kitchen and bathroom with I think 2 other rooms.
