Traveling to Hong kong in DEC and thinking of crossing to shengzhen and onto xiamen. Where, How and best way of traveling onto xiamen, thinking of train. Advice please.

sorry to tell you that there are no direct train to xiamen from shenzhen, you have to transmit for at least once. if you insist on going by train, why not go to Guangzhou from Hongkong direct, and the train there. The problem is, the stataion you arrive at is not the one you can take the train to xiamen, you have to go to another station. For either way,it takes you more than 13hours.I hope you dont get confused about this

So, for me, it'e better to take a bus. it takes you around 7 hours.I think you may be concerned of the safty, but it's ok if you take the bus from some station like Futian or Luohu

from Futian Station of shenzhen,to Xiamen. Departure tiem: 09：00 OR 19：30

exit the immigration ,opp. is the bus station is at the basement of Lowu Commercial Bldg.The schedule is quite regular but don't know the timing.
