Antigua and Barbuda Cruise Ship Docking
Posted: Mon October 2, 2006 07:59 PM UTC
We are docking in Antigua on a cruise ship in November. We do not snorkel or dive. Is there anything else for us to do other than sit on a beach?

Any help is much appreciated

Antigua offers hiking, beautiful drives, shopping, casino's, cricket but the nicest part of the island I found were the beaches and people. Don't be intimadated by the numbers on Antigua because the people are friendly and helpful.

Hi, there is plenty of things to do in antigua. It depends of what you whish to do. If you are into historical site then go to English Harbour you will be stunned. If you would like to chill on a beach and have a great lunch then go to Turner's beach. If you'd like to shopping and have a look of town, then stay in town. For shopping (all duty free) you can go to New Gate by the new harbour and to Levi's. If you are into watersports such as Jet skiing and water ski then go to Dickenson's bay.
Once you'll reach the harbour you'll find lots of taxi driver with mini bus waiting for you with offers for differents trips. Just pick one. Remember do not be intimidate people are nice, friendly and proud to be Antiguans. On this you can be sure as I used to live there by myself.
Have a nice trip and have fun!
Ciao
