Hi,
I'm thinking of moving to Baku. I'm an american, and I'm having trouble finding out what is like to live in Baku. Any info would help a lot. I can't make up my mind. Thanks!

Honey, its sooo different in Baku from the US. I have lived in the US, so I know how u will feel when u come here. :) In some cases Aze is better, in some US. For example, people are really warm and hospitable in here, they are very caring, if u are a stranger and u have a problem, they will do their best to help you. In the US, people usually are cold. So, thats one of the main differences.

Be ready for strangers staring at you. Guyz can stare at girls a lot, which sucks and i hate it. )) its really annoying, but people wonder what others wear, what kind of makeup they put on and other stupid stuff :))

ALso, make sure u dont pay more than 25$ to taxi from airport to city. Usually taxidrivers or merchants take 100 instead of 1 from foreigners. :)
