Here's a question for you!
I'm considering a holiday in the Azores next August. Does anyone know if there is much nightlife? By nightlife I dont mean 'all night discos', but more busy restaurants and cafe/bars at night. Secondly are there many cockroaches?? A real fear of mine. Would appreciate any help or advice of my fellow VTers whi have been there |

Hi! There aren´t many bugs there, stay calm!
The night life depends on the island you choose. There are 9 of them! I advice you to see Sao Miguel, Faial, Pico and Terceira. There are goog night life at the two firsts and Terceira.But the best of all is the day light and the nature. At Faial you must go to Peter's Café and have a Gin (it's tradiction amongst the sailors) and try the wale watching in the summer.
