Taroudannt Travel Forum

My husband and I want to go to Taroudannt 3 November 2006 - 8 November 2006 I have looked at web sites and found place called Saadiens and emailed them asking for price and availability but not received reply, I have read review on Tripadvisor and some say it is good and some say not !!

Can anyone please help with info on Saadiens or any other suggestions, we are looking for something that has ensuite and preferably 400 - 450 dirham.

Hi - I always stay at my favorite Palais Salam (I can't recommend it enough but it comes to about 700 DH a night...) so I don't know much about Saadiens...

Back to Saadiens...
The cost is about 165-210 according to LP...November really should be fine for availability.
If you want to reach them: You will need to call or fax Saidiens (e-mail in Morocco is not the most reliable way of biz communication) - phone 048852589 fax 048854480...

The best info available online is www.triotours.com/faq/index.htm
You can punch in any Moroccan city and hotel and get an idea of price, etc...

However I cannot find any information about this hotel on the web or from other travellers on this site or on trip advisor, can you tell me is it a good hotel or might there be some problems, your advice would be much appreciated.

Hello. I think you wouldn't be expecting Luxury at the Hotel Saadiens but it is a nice hotel I believe and reaosnably priced. The location is good as well.

I was staying in Tarroudant last week. I went and looked at the Hotel Saadiens, as it was recommended in my Rough Guide,, but didn't like it. It was characterless, had a poor location and the rooms were dingy. They were asking 240dh for a basic double room. I then went to stay at the Hotel Tarroudant, which was cheaper and much nicer. It has a great location on the main square (Place Assaraq), a wonderful inner courtyard and a bar with cheap prices. I paid 140dh per night for a double room there, with a high ceiling and good facilities.

The Hotel Tarroudant is one of the nicest budget places to stay in Morocco.

Yes Hotel Taroudant is located in the main square " Asarag", so if you think you'll have a nap after lunch, you should think again..hahaha...well, what I know is that almost all hotels in Taroudant are reasonably priced except hotel Salam and Hotel "La Gazelle D'or".
If Hotel Taroudant sounds better and cheaper, maybe you should book there.

Thanks for advice we are going to Marrakech end of this month for few days then onto Taroudant for 5 days then on to Ijoukak for 1 night [do you know any good places to stay in Ijoukak] then Ouirgane for couple of nights then back to Marrakech for 4 days before coming home.

Hate to be nuisance but any advice on places we must see in and around Taroudant, do you happen to know if there is anywhere we can go horse riding ?
