Hi guys,

Am wondering if the following 4 day itinerary is an overkill:
1 - Morning drive to Longsheng. Check out Zhuang and Yao Minority tribes' villages. Climb to summit of Longji (Dragon's backbone). Hike around Pingan village.
2 - Li River cruise and disembark at YangShuo. Overnight at YangShuo. <---- is this worth the extra night???????
3 - In Yangshuo, Ancient Banyan tree Park and the Moon Hill. Return to Guilin and check out Elephant Trunk Hill.
4 - Fubo Hill and Reed Flute Cave.

Anything here where can I cut down a whole day?

I definitely think the Li River cruise is worth doing. However, for me, the Ancient Banyan Tree Park was a non-event. Moon Hill? Well, that day the weather was so bad that we didn't go - we did see it from the road and quite frankly, I don't think we missed anything.

2.definitely yes.
3.only 2 hours trip. you may aslo try biking and rafting on yulong river. for elepant trunk hill, if you wanna take some pictures only, then hike 1 km further, there will be a terrace by the river and you may see hill clearly, fences & trees along the park just for entry fee!
4.the day you may cut down.

1. We did not go, eats up too much time.

2. Definately worth it.

Yangshuo was a great place to stay. We spent 2 days in Guilin and 4 in Yangshuo. Was awesome.

3. Ancient B Tree and other so called tourist places SUCKED!!! We did enjoy the biking tour though. That I would recommend.

4. Nothing special. I liked the Zoo in '7 Star Park' - there was a cage with tiger where a tourist could walk in and take a pic sitting on an animal. Quite a view!!!
