well i actually got here in heidelberg and have a job now working in an irish bar which is perfect for me but only problem i have is to find somewhere to properly live. i organises to rent a student room for the month before i got here so i could settle and see how things work out but now my time is nearly up(one more week left) and i still dont have anywhere else to live.is there any newspapers or magazines that could help me find somewhere?i tried looking on the web but didnt really find many places,i would like to live closer to the city as im staying all the way in st. ilegen. any help again would be most appreiciated! :)

Did you check www.sperrmuell.de? The ads in the Rhein-Neckar Zeitung? The black board in the uni? Put a note out in the pub you're working. Heidelberg is a very difficult city to find a place to live, especially now, with the winter term just beginning.

The main daily newspaper is the RNZ. Best will be to get a weekend issue, as there are the most rental offers.
