Absolutely yes effective Jan. 1, 2007. It is noted on both the Bermuda tourism website and US Govt. passport website and from what I understand, if your trip to Bermuda starts in 2006 but ends after Jan. 7, 2007, you will need a passport to get back into the U.S.
