Need to know which International Airport is nearest to Sanya Highnan and which International Airlines lands there ??? thanks

Sanya in Hainan? I think it has its own international airport. The best I could help with is that Tiger Airways (budget airline from Singapore) flies to Haikou (the other end of Hainan) from Singapore.

Yes, nerverstoptravel is right. There is a international airport in Sanya, named Sanya Phoenix Airport. But there is just one fight between Korea and Sanya every day.

In fact, there are two airports in Hainan. One is in Haikou, the capital of Hainan, about 3.5 hours by taxi from Haikou to Sanya. The other one is in Sanya. Both of them are international airports. As far as I know, there are flights between Singapore/Malysia and Sanya.

i'm also planning to visit hainan, sanya end october 06. how much is golfing in sanya?
thinking of putting up at holiday inn....any other suggestions if we intend to do some sightseeing & golfing?

i understand hainan airline & china southern also fly to guilin...in fact i may also fly from hainan to guilin for a short visit if my iteninary permits during the hainan trip.

are you sure there is direct flight from Singapore to Sanya? Is Hainan Airlines flying Sanya-Singapore-Sanya? Is it charter flight or scheduled flight? I would like to fly to Sanya directly but Changi Airport says there is no scheduled flight to Sanya.

I don't think there're direct flights Singapore -- Sanya, only Singapore -- Haikou.

Hainan Airlines has charterd service with one travel agent in Malaysia (www.mbts.com.my) Offering Daily service for Haikou-Kuala lumpur VV. The fare is quite attractive too. But the inflight service is very unsatisfactory. The coffee is cold and they serve plain rice with gravy with funny smell! The crews are so rude too.

i agree with you the male crew of Hainan Airlines are more rude than female crew. i travelled from Haikou to Shenzhen with Hainan Airlines. I will check that www.mbts.com.my. I am surprised charter flights by Hainan Airlines from Kuala Lumpur are daily. Thanks.

i did not realise there is a chartered flight by SilkAir direct to Sanya.
