There is a certain attrativeness to UCD as always. Being the biggest college in Ireland it has many more contacts and quiet alot of Influence in placing graduates. I have had many friends got there and to be honest for me its not really near the best college in Ireland its sheir size creates an atmosphere, which does not be-fit Irelands Usual college style. Infact you could also probably include trinity in this, but for different reasons. Back to the point, I have been a student in DCU and am now currently studying in DBS, I find the teaching standard extremley high in DBS. As a private college the teachers tend to get a bit extra, also the fact that the college has a specialization the buisness area, it attracts alot of teachers who prefer to keep to their area,Its a growing college and on its way up, IMO. UCD you may pay for more and the facilities I know are better esp in the Buisness area but for me its the lectures that make the difference and size of class too. DBS will have 20-30 students in a class where UCD will have up to 100 or more. Hope this is of help
