Dublin Dublin Business School

I'm interested in applying for a master course in DBS, does anyone know it? Is it a good business school? because the same master course in UCD costs much more than in DBS. I wonder why, I hope not because of the quality.
Thanks for any tips!

UCD is a National University and its Smurfit Business School is very prestigious. My friend and ex-boyfriend went there to do MA in accounting and landed jobs with one of the Big 5 Accounting firms straight away. So that could be a factor.

DBS is a private independent college, it mainly seems to cater for people who are working during the day and whose employers require them to take some kind of course at night/weekends.
I don't know which one is better - if the contents of the courses are identical then it is obviously tempting to go for the cheaper option

There is a certain attrativeness to UCD as always. Being the biggest college in Ireland it has many more contacts and quiet alot of Influence in placing graduates. I have had many friends got there and to be honest for me its not really near the best college in Ireland its sheir size creates an atmosphere, which does not be-fit Irelands Usual college style. Infact you could also probably include trinity in this, but for different reasons. Back to the point, I have been a student in DCU and am now currently studying in DBS, I find the teaching standard extremley high in DBS. As a private college the teachers tend to get a bit extra, also the fact that the college has a specialization the buisness area, it attracts alot of teachers who prefer to keep to their area,Its a growing college and on its way up, IMO. UCD you may pay for more and the facilities I know are better esp in the Buisness area but for me its the lectures that make the difference and size of class too. DBS will have 20-30 students in a class where UCD will have up to 100 or more. Hope this is of help
