| Fukuoka-ken | Fukuoka worth the stop? Posted: Wed September 20, 2006 06:35 AM UTC
Hello there..
I'll be arriving at Fukuoka at 8am.. My itinerary so far as planned is: Fukuoka Dazaifu/Nagasaki Nagasaki/shumbara/kumamoto Kumamoto/Mt Aso/Beppu Yufuin Then move on hiroshima... Just wondering. Is Fukuoka worth the stop or should i move on to Naga straight away on the first day? Also Should I stop at Aso or Beppu? |

It depends on your interest, experiences and budget.
Fukuoka is a fascinating city, but if you are not interested in modern city with old history you could skip Fukuoka. Aso has great view, but if you are not interested in nature you could skip Aso. Beppu is a famous onsen town, but if you don't like a communal bath, or if you will experience onsen in Aso or Yufuin, you could skip Beppu.
