Hi,
iam living in Tianjin and everybody has told me how the country gets for October holidays, everybody travels so iam not going on holidays anywhere. I may go to Beijing one day, just to see all that people, but nothing more. But even so i would like to know if there is anything small place around Tianjin interesting. Somewhere where i can go by train or bus for the day around this area. thanks a lot *:) |

Hello! How are you there?
A day trip destination from Tianjin is Pan Shan. If you have two days, there are Longqing Gorge, Ye San Po etc. If you have three or four days then you can go to Chengde or Shan Hai Guan.

I highly recommend Yangliuqing as a day trip from Tianjin. You can get there by bus quite easily. It is interesting as a traditional folk art village, especially around the time people are preparing to celebrate Chinese New Year.
