Hi~ I am planning to go Queenstown next year for working holiday. As a result, I would like to find out how much is the homestay rental now at queenstown? What will be the facilities that most landlord offering?

By the way, is Queenstown a nice place to work and stay? Is the living expenses there very high?

living expenses in Queenstown very expensive but the place is beautiful. Its exciting and the scenery is fantastic. Lots to do there. Cheers Barb

Hi, yes Queenstown is a great place to work and stay, it is a bit more expensive as its a holiday tourist resort, but there is a new big supermarket near the airport which has the usual prices,town supermarket is very expensive. Its a town full of youn people, workers and backpackers. You will have an awesome time there.

I am planning on doing the same in the next couple of months...i want to get a job at coronet peak for the winter season so i want to move by late may at the latest. so have you moved there yet? if not it would be cool to see if we can hook up and find a place together because it would be way easier to find places and split costs of things. well keep in touch and hope to hear from you soon......
