Muay Thai Boxing in Phuket?

Hi, my husband and i would also want to see a REAL muay thai boxing match and not one of the staged ones in a few of the bars in bangla rd. could you tell me if there's anywhere we can watch a fight near patong beach? i heard about a stadium right on bangla rd and rat-u-thit. can anyone tell me more about this?

there is to places with real muay thai in patong

on on the corner of bangla and rat u tid the other one is patong boxing stadium

you can get info every 50m all over patong at counter tours.

Ive been to the boxing a bunch of times at a bunch of different locations...regardless of the authenticity it is a great night out. a lot of fun. Authentic boxing is very hard to find and generally only found in the big stadiums in BKK....
Ive found that the boxing that seems to take place nightly is more fake.....a boxing night that occurs once a month, a little better chance of more authenticiy.
In any case it is fun...theres food and booze and cheering and music. If there are locals around betting with one another (ringside)....our in good shape for some real fighting.
