Has anyone been to zante at the beginnining of may. What was it like, was it hot did it rain? What about evenings does it get chilly?

Way back in the 80's we went to Zakynthos in early May and the weather was perfect. CleAr blue skies during the day, in the mid 70'sF. , but a little chilly in the evenings. May is a great time to visit the island for it's beautiful wild flowers and everywhere is very green.

Early May is a lovely time to visit. We have been in February, May, June, July, September and May is definately the nicest. It's generally hot but cooler at night, although not cold.
It does rain occasionally but it doesn't last long, so don't worry - go for it.
