If you can get invited to an embassy party, you'll find limitless alcohol! There is also a Korean restaurant that sometimes serves beer, but shhhhhh! I didn't tell you that ;)

Iam Sudanese and of course know my country very well.Aloholic drinks are not severd in public open hotels. This has been prohibited in Sudan since 1983 and in the nothern part of the country only, but not the southern part where christians dominate.Nevertheless.locally-made alcoholic drinks ,smuglled beer, whisky etc are widely spread in the north ,if you come to know trustful fellow who can bring it to you to drink in your private room ,and there are many.Foreign embassies are allowed also to import these items and some limited restaurants like the one called 'Little India' in Khartoum (2).The locally-made alcohols are made from dates and called ( ARAKI ).By the way sudanese people and the youths in particular are very friendly and they like to help foreigners.
