Baltimore Travel Forum

In addition to awesome events planned by our wonderful hosts, I would like to do the following (in no particular order, but this may work):

*Flea Market (suggested by Ellen)
*Baseball Legends/Babe Ruth Birthplace
*American Visionary Art Museum
*...and catch up with Frank's walking tour before the Crabfest

I am staying at the Tremont Park Hotel. Can someone suggest transportation to each of these places?

You can walk to Baseball legends/the Babe birthplace from your hotel.

The AVAM museum is on the way to LP Steamers. Neither LP Steamers or Patterson Pk flea mkt are walking distance. If you get a day pass for the water taxi ($8), you can use it to get to AVAM and LP Steamers. Plus, for Patterson Park, you can get off at the Canton/Captian James Landing stop and have maybe a 10-15 minute walk to the park. (The flea mkt will be on the Baltimore St and Patterson Park Aves entrance to the park, but walking through the park is nice, and you get to see real live life in Baltimore...and loads of dogs!)
