Horizont Hotel or Red Roof Guesthouse?

Dear folks,

has anyone of you been to one of the above named hotels (both situated in the old city center)?

I'd like to try out a new location in Baku after staying in the same place for about ten times - a palce that isn't really bad, but not really fantastic either...

Hi there, I'm planning to go to Baku mid august and it's hard to find information about the place! You seem to have been there quite a few times, could you tell me how much is a (double) room in a standard hotel? where do you usually stay, even if it's not fantastic? any idea of the prices at the redroof guesthouse?
And last but not least if you know the country, are there places that you would specially recommand (we're planning to stay there 3 weeks)?
