El Calafate All Glaciers tour to Upsala, Oneille and Spegazzini glaciers
Posted: Fri September 8, 2006 10:54 PM UTC
Does anyone have any more detail on the specific boat or tour group that offers the all glaciers, all day trip. We are most interested in the trip that offers the upstairs VIP area. There seems to be a number of boats that offer this trip and I would like to reserve the one that has been recommended. Thanks.

Check this site. As far as I know, he is the only one who operates the tour. It happens that every touristic office buys the same tour to him and then offers it to the public.

I havent done this because I am a local and he has set a cost which can be paid only for foreigners. But I've heard is really nice.

We took a tour to those glaciers on the Upsala Explorer, and sat upstairs in the VIP area---really nice, worth the extra cost. I don't know their website, but your could try googling Upsala Explorer. have fun! Tracy

Thank you all for your responses (and great photos). You have given me the lead I was looking for. It appears that the only way to contact the Fernandez Campbell company is through a (local) travel agency or to call them directly(I don't speak Spanish very well). Numerous attempts to contact them via their email posted on their web site have failed. So far, I cannot get an answer from Solo Patagonia either. Like most travelers, when you hear of something really great, you don't want to miss it when you are there or unknowlingly accept a substitute. I'll keep trying. Thanks again
