Acuna has the typical shopping you find in most border towns. There are not many bargains to be had there. Of course you will find many street vendors and shops aggressively hawking you for business. Booze is not that much cheaper than you will find in the U.S, except for Kahlua.
The best place for Mexican souveniers and crafts is Acuna Curios on the main drag about a 1/2 mile from the bridge on the left. Prices are marked, so not a lot of negotiating is needed. Happy Trails, Marc
