I'm trying to find out what is the best way to get from Lagos to Morocco and also if it can be done in a day or not. If anyone has done this trip before or is doing it in the near future and has some advice I would be very appreciative of it.

you will need to go to spain to catch a ferry to morocco.
algeciras has the most connections to morocco, but you can also go from gibraltar or tarifa.

algeciras is indeed the best place to take the ferry to morocco.

Do you know if it is easy to get from Lagos to Algeciras? I noticed that you can get from lagos to Seville but haven't been able to find anything that takes you directly to Algeciras.

I did the trip from Faro to Seville but not onward to Algeciras. Sevilla is a big city as a hub to the southern Spain, whilst Lago is a small city with direct buses to Sevilla. It will involve a change of buses.

i would say take the bus to the border and get off there and get a bus to algeciras.
it should be quite easy.
