No train on this route. You need to go north and would have to go by bus, probably through the border at Sarpi.

Can you let me know how you manage to get from Eruzum to Georgia as I would like to do this next year. I assume you get a bus/minibus to the border then cross to Batumi? Please let me know if there were lots of buses and how long it takes.

P.S. You'll love Georgia!

hi there,
I had a guest from Turkey this year and he crossed the border via the bus from Istanbul to batumi, took a long time, but he said it was worth it.
when will you be going to tbilisi?
let me know if you are looking for an accomodation, as I let my house in Tbilisi, I live in the Uk, and let my house only to tourists.
Regards,
Irma
