Flights from Madrid to Quito in January

I am looking to make a booking for 10 people travelling from Madrid to a wedding in Quito on 13 January 2007. Prices seem very high...has anybody got any suggestions of where I might find some cheap seats????

try looking for fares as two distinct trips if you don't mind layovers. Sometimes that helps

From the US (for instance) flights go to Quito from JFK, Houston and Miami. See if you can get a good deal to one of those cities and a deal from the that city to Quito.

We are going to Quito November and we paid $600.

You could probably get the US-Quito flight for around $500 and a flight to the US for about the same

I am interested in learning what airline you are using to go to Quito form the US. Were are you leaving from and connecting? Is the $600 a round trip cost or just one way?

it is roundtrip. Philly to Quito connecting through Miami on American Airlines.

I just checked our dates from NYC and it is $545 on Avianca, $579 on Copa, $589 on LAN, $594 on Continental, $596 on American and $603 on Delta.

Checked our dates from Miami and it is $466 on Copa, $495 on Avianca, $519 on Lasca, $525 on American and LAN
