Does anyone know a way to go to Thailand / Trat or nearby from Phu Quoc. We don't want to spend days & days in a bus or at a checkpoint. Maybe by ferry or direct bus.

Hi
Can't be done unless you have a private boat, the quickest way is by plane back to Saigon and fly into Thailand. Sometime next year, so they say, Phuc Quoc International airport will open.

Just double checked and the border crossing at Ha Tien is still closed to foreigners, due to open sometime next year, so only choice is to get back to Saigon and go from there or drive up to Chau Doc and cross into Cambodia that way, both will take some time
