Are you referring to Chiesa S. Biagio?
There are, of course, churches in Montepulciano but you did say outside so perhaps that is it.

Deecat, I think we're right. I just checked my Montepulciano photos and San Biagio is on a hillside right below Montepulciano. That must be it.

What a peacful, perfectly situated church. We timed it to attend sunday mass there last fall.
