| Genoa | moving around in the City without a vespa Posted: Sat September 2, 2006 05:11 PM UTC Hi All, I have just moved to Genoa and have not yet figured out how to move myself in the local area from point A to point B. To date I have been walking miles in the hot August sun!. Does anyone know where I can get a bus itinerary that details all bus numbers and where they go? is there perhaps a website? Thanks in advance for any help. Calypsogirl |

Do you read Italian? The official public transport website is http://www.amt.genova.it/ . For example, http://www.amt.genova.it/orari/mappa_centro.asp is the bus and Metro map of the city center.
I haven't found an English version...but if you've moved to Genova, I hope that learning Italian is high on your list of things to do ;-) Bill

use buses and trains...we use normal trains to move between the different side of the city... the city centre is not very large you can walk too :) it's better , but it depends on where you want to go
don't miss boccadasse and nervi!
