I will be in San Sebastian next week and would like to make a day trip to Gernika from San Sebastian. I am having difficulty finding information about direct bus or train connections. Can anyone help with the best way of getting there/back, with details of which bus company or train station?

Alsa is the name of the local bus operator and FEVE the train operator. Both have websites that will provide timetables.
