I will be travelling to Milos in September 06 but wanted to know what the best way to Pollonia would be from Milos airport. I'll have luggage with me so it will probably be best to get a taxi unless anyone has any other ideas. If I go by taxi what should I expect to pay?
Any suggestions? and thanks very much |

By taxi cab is just about the only way to get to Pollonia from the airport. Expect to pay 15 Euros or more if you have luggage with you.

I agree that taxi is the best way. Once you have got to Pollonia you can use the very good bus service to see the rest of the island, but even if they do not run when you want them to the taxis will still be good and fairly cheap. There is a fantastic fish restaurant in Pollonia opposite the bus stop. You MUST try it - the octopus and the red mullet are unbelievable. My taste buds are going as I write this!!!
