I'm travelling from Rome to San Giovanni Rotondo next week and I had hoped to go to Assisi from there. Is it possible to get a bus or train from Foggia to Assisi?

I'm afraid no buses, but there are trains. You have to change at Rome or Ancona/Foligno (I'd choose Rome).
