I will be staying near the Henry Fonda Theatre and leaving out of Burbank Airport. What is the best/cheap way to get there. About how much would a taxi cost? Or is there any transit that takes you to teh airport that doesn't take an hour? I will be leaving wuite early in the morning...

I'd say your best bet would be to get a hotel near the Burbank Airport the night before your flight and take a shuttle from that hotel to the airport. The drive from Hollywood Boulevard to Burbank early in the morning could take quite a while and a taxi could be pretty expensive.

Even at about 5:45am?? Traffic bad that early? I have already booked a place near Henry Fonda Theatre as I am going to see a show there that night.

Even in LA the traffic is light before 6AM.
It's really not that far from Hollywierd to the Burbank airport but taxi's are really expensive in LA. A good cheaper alternative would be those airport shuttle services like "prime time" it's probably $20 to $25 from your hotel.

I really like that Henry Fonda theater. Who are you going to see?
I moved from LA to Hawaii three years ago and the live music (and USC Football games) is about all I miss.

Going to see The Polyphonic Spree. Have you heard of them?

YES!!! That should be quite a treat seeing the Spree in the fairly intimate (less than 1000 seats) Fonda Theater. I was a big fan of Tripping Daisy (RIP Wes). I always thought Delaughter's vocals reminded me of Ziggy era Bowie. I love Spree's cover of Bowie's "5 Years". Did you happen to catch them on tour with Bowie in Austin a couple of years ago? I'll bet it was amazing.

Last time I was at the Fonda (2003), I saw Arthur Lee (Rip Arthur) and Love play the "Forever Changes" album....blew me away.
