Uluru National Park (Ayers Rock) Red dust in Clothing

How do you remove the dust which is embedded in your trouser legs etc? I've tried washing with ordinary washing machine detergent and it doesn't work.

Can't give personal experience with red dust but having been squirted with the black ink from squid which sticks like **** to a blanket, I can say that a soaking in Nappysan Max removes that no problem! Could work in your case? Don't send me the bill if it your designer jeans & it bleaches them!! good luck de pedro

There is a product that removes stains (including pen ink) safely even from colour clothes. I can't remember what it is called but have a look at the supermart. It's a small white bottle, althought packaging could have changed since it has been a few years since I used it.

Soak in Nappy San for about 3 weeks, wash another 10 times, if trousers are still in one piece they should be OK...:)

You could just frame the trousers , hang them in the laundry and you will have the memory of the centre of Aus forever and a day!!!!
