Any 6 bedded hotels/suites in LV Posted: Sun July 6, 2003 09:11 AM UTC
We are planning a trip to LV in April 2005 and were wondering if anyone knows of any hotels which accomodate 6, such as the suite hotels which populate Orlando. We have 4 kids who will be 15, 14, 14 and 11. We may have to take 2 rooms in the end if we want to stay in one of the theme hotels on the strip. All info welcome. Thanks!

Westgate Flamingo Bay 5625 W. Flamingo Road. This hotel is approx 2 miles west of the strip. 2 miles makes a HUGE difference sometimes, taxis get expensive. Decent area. This is a condo villa. They offer 2 bedroom condos that can actually take up to 8 people. The have a separate living room with a pull out sofa bed, great kitchen area, washer and dryers, and jacuzzi. And you're right about the themed hotels on the strip. If you want to go that route, max room occupancy is 4 people. My personal fave is the MGM Grande. I don't know what budget you're on but check out expedia or travelocity they might have other options for seating 6. good luck! have fun...Emmy ;-)

check with the orleans. is off the strip. but has shuttle to barbary coast and gold coast. and a bus a few times each day to the other coast properties. you can get three rooms here for what two cost on the strip, on the strip the flamingo had some rooms that adjoined each other with two kind size beds in each and now i know they some with two queen size beds in each. some on floor 21 .see if they still do. check with gold coast hotel too. see my pages on great rooms and some great websites

Check the Polo Towers, The Jockey Club Marriott Vacation Club. All are on the Strip and have apartment suites

In General... Posted: Tue July 8, 2003 04:39 PM UTC
The strip hotels, standard room accomodations, will NOT allow more than 4 persons per room per reservation, or if they will allow it, they will charge you additional persons fees. If you are looking for something budgetwise, this would not be the good choice. (Of course they want to make their money off the second room!)
I agree with the person who posted to seek a condo rental, this is probably the best bet.

The Flamingo on the strip had some adjoining rooms. And they also have a great pool which the kids will love.

in 2005 ? wow someone likes to get their reservations made WELL in advance -- but for 6 bedrooms I'd say rent a house. I don;t think there are any condo that have 6 bedrooms, and I'm sure that would be quite expensive. House rentals are all over the place and I'm sure you'd have a lot of luck finding what you are looking for!

They don't need 6 bedrooms, they need accomodations for 6 people.

Actually...adjoining and connecting mean the same thing..adjacent means nearby/next to. But, always confirm directly with the hotel that the rooms that you have reserved are connecting, if you make reservations on-line you do not always get the kind of room you are requesting.
Even though I admire your planning a trip for 2005, however, in this ever changing economy of ours, prices are not going to be the same, and sometimes you can get really good last minute deals.

Re: Re: Any 6 bedded hotels/suites in LV Posted: Sat July 12, 2003 09:51 AM UTC
Thanks everyone...I think I will investigate suites and condos, booking 2 rooms in each place we visit will stretch our budget unless we end up staying in really cheap places...anyone know of any good value but not too "cheap and nasty" budget accomodation!

Re: Re: Any 6 bedded hotels/suites in LV Posted: Sat July 12, 2003 09:54 AM UTC
Although I am investigating my trip at the moment, I will nto be booking anything unless it is an unbelievably good deal....I just like to plan my next trip so I can have something to look forward to. I am off to Florida in October, and once that trip is over I need to focus on the next one to maintain sanity! (Thats what living in the Uk does for you). So I am not such an organised forward planner, just a frustrated travel addict!

Re: Re: Any 6 bedded hotels/suites in LV Posted: Sat July 12, 2003 01:51 PM UTC
Airline rates and schedules are issued 331 days in advance. You will have to wait till around June next year to find out what that will cost you. Hotels are usually 6-9 mos or so in advance. You may have better luck if you call the hotels directly.
As a travel agent, my advice would be to wait until the charter/hotel packages come out. Nine times out of ten, the chartered air is less expensive and many of the providers have negotiated lower rates with the hotels...
Hope this helps ;)
