Positano Travel Forum

I have 4 days to stay at Positano or Capri. I want to visit Ravello as well? Should I allocate 3 days to Positano + Ravello and 1 day in Capri? Or 2 days each in Positano and Capri. I'll be there at end Oct.

Three for Positano and one for Capri (you could even do Capri as a day trip). The best part of Capri is enjoying the departure of the daytrippers. You have apparently already been advised on Ravello - great. Are you going to have a car or depend on public transit?

I highly recommend staying overnight in Capri. It is almost magical when all the tourist go back to the mainland and you are free to stroll around. You can see all of Positano in a morning. I would devote a full afternoon to Ravello.

I will be taking public transport. Or should I stay at Ravello for 1 night? or Ravello can be covered in half a day from Positano?

You can cover Ravello in an afternoon from Positano.

Ravello by public transit is easy - take SITA bus to Amalfi and switch busses to Ravello (easy transfer). As above, does not require a full day to see everything.
