Hello,
Are there any day trips that can booked from Aswan hotels to visit Kom Ombo and Edfu that return back to the hotel in the same day? Would visiting these 2 places require 2 day trips or can they be done in 1 day for both places? What's the cost for these day trips? Would it be better to book these trips in Luxor instead of Aswan? Looking forward to hearing back any advice on this. Thanks! |

It can be done in one day. Take the train! From Luxor to Aswan takes 4 hours. Kom Ombo and Edfu are in between of thise cities.
There might be day trips from both these cities to this sites. I have no idea. I like the luxury Nile cruise, that will lead me sunbathing, sighseeing along these cities. But the train seems to me the most advisable means of transportation. Negotiate a taxi when arriving on either station, for half a day each. Good luck, Dora.

Hi,
you can book such trip either from Luxor or from Aswan and you will visit both temples. Just contact a local travel agent or two once be there. Price should include transportation by a/c private coach, entrance fees and English speaking tour guide. compare prices and then go for the reasonable one.
