I'm planning to visit the island in October, any1 know how is the weather condition during this period?

Any suggestion for the 'nite activities' such as over there? Is the trekking activity available at nite time?

Hi There ! The Weather Is Totally unpredictable But Usually Monsoon Season In East Malaysia Starts Around November And December.As For Night Activities I'm Not To Sure...Maybe You Should Check With The Hotel That You're Staying In.

No real night activities apart from dinner and drinks. Maybe some karaoke.

If you have an advance licence you can go night diving.

We are also planning to go the last week of September or the first week of October and spend a week on Besar.

Been doing a lot of reading and been getting mixed messages, some say it's great weather still, others (dive sites for example) say they're already closing the beginning of October due to bad weather/monsoon season.

I know nothing is as unpredictable as the weather but since this is our first holiday in waaaay to long I don't want to risk it too much and really really want to go to the Perhentians

Any advice more then appreciated.
