I am thinking of coming to menton for the lemon festival - what kind of weather can i expect in february .And would it be very busy - would i be able to book a hotel easy .

Check www.wunderground.com for detailed weather data for each day of the year on a regional basis. Not sure about "how busy" -- any question can be answered somewhere in "Google".

Menton is the warmest place in continental France and they grow lemons. So, basically, if it's a sunny day and here isn't much of a breeze you can sit outside for lunch wearing a t-shirt. Menton has its own micro-climate so it will be warmer than Monaco which is just next door.

As for hotels, book now!! It's the high season during the festival and it is VERY popular. BONNE CHANCE!

We have spent two February's in Menton. Weather is always "good". Daytime about 15-16 C. Mornings 6C Accomodation should be reserved early, like now. Pierre et Vacance Rivages du Parc is only a short block from the Lemon Festival so is somewhat noisy for the two weeks. We move to P.& V. Villefranche during the last week of the festival.
