It all depends on what you're looking for. We like staying at the Griya Santrian. It's beach front, just what we like :) Have a look at my Sanur pages if you would like to know more.

The Griya Santrian is good, Segara Village, Besakih, Puri Santrian, Sari Sanur,
or private villas i.e. Emerald Villas. There are also some homestays which are cheap namely Kayu Manis and Mona Lisa around RPl00,000 a night. That's cheap.
